But at ABB, you’ll never run alone.Your Role: Own the Challenge/Take on the JourneyIn this role you will lead a team to ensure the development of technical solutions in line with the safety, financial, technical and contractual requirements.Also, you will initiate and drive continuous improvement activities across the team in close collaboration with Business Line management teams.You will report to the Senior Vice President, Business Line Manager.Willingness to travel is required (around 40%).· Work in close collaboration with the BL management team to meet the business targets in terms of profitable growth and relentless execution· Provide leadership & contribute to development & deployment of solutions· Provide direction & support to project teams in ensuring successful project delivery of projects with a focus on safety, on time delivery, quality and margin improvement.· Work closely with INOPC management to optimize overall project execution costs.· Build and maintain customer relationships, seeks feedback and provides innovative solutions to meet customer requirements and deliver improvements.· Provide engineering support during the bid phase, supports presentation of proposals to customers.· Work with business development to target new opportunities· Present new technology and innovation at conferences, client events.· Oversee contractual work within one’s area of responsibility.· Conduct regular progress reviews, identifies and manages contractual risks.Work with cutting-edge technology and top experts to engineer solutions that shape the future.What it takes to Run what runs the world
  • Bachelor or higher degree in Process, Electrical or Electronic Engineer
  • 10+ years of experience in Front End Engineering Design (FEED), Project Operations in the Chemical & Refining Industry with focus on solution selling, batch process, technical, delivery.
  • Experience in solution selling is preferred, project selling in Chemical industry could be considered
  • Solid understanding of Chemicals (from end to end products & auxiliary units).
  • Previous experience in executing international projects and in managing successful inter- and intra-company cooperation.
  • 5+ years of experience in people management for Specialists and Experienced Project Engineers.
  • Experience in working in international environments with different cultures and languages and managing stakeholders of varying management levels.
  • Fluency in English is essential (written and spoken).
