5+ years of C/C++ software design and development experience on Linux platforms, or 3+ years of audio software engineering experience on Linux platforms is preferred. Solid understanding of ALSA, Androud Audio HAL and Framework; experience with AudioReach is a plus. Familiarity with multimedia frameworks such as PulseAudio, PipeWire, GStreamer, NuPlayer, Codec2. Knowledge of audio interfaces and hardware: I2S, SoundWire, WSA, WCD, Smart PA. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; proven team player. Proficiency in both oral and written English. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. Audio bring up, debug, and optimize existing audio drivers and software. Perform issue triage, root cause analysis, and develop investigation strategies. Design, implement, and validate audio features (e.g. Fluence, KWD, BT/DP/USB audio). Follow established software processes and contribute to continuous quality improvement. Coordinate with internal and international teams to resolve issues and deliver solutions.
