  • To teach a few classes of Grade 3 to 5 English and Guided Reading, while the national teacher will be Homeroom Teacher.
  • To demonstrate thorough curriculum knowledge.
  • To ensure that planning, preparation, teaching, recording, assessment and reports meet the needs of the students and expectations of the school.
  • To promote high expectations for our students, designing learning activities that are aligned to our school's Primary curriculum and creating a learning culture where there are no limits to what can be achieved.
  • To foster an environment of respect within the classroom, facilitating learning through questioning and discussion.
  • To actively contribute to wider school development and growth.
The Successful Candidate will possess:
  • Qualified Teacher status with a minimum of three to four years teaching experience in Primary, preferably with 2 years in a school in the UK.
  • Understanding of effective teaching and learning theory and practice of providing effectively for the individual needs of all children through classroom organization, differentiation and learning strategies.
  • Holding a PGCE/ QTS or national recognized teaching license.
  • A degree in English Language and Literature preferred.
  • Team player and be flexible.
