Ensure effective teaching and management of classes, groups and individuals so that objectives are met, progress and challenge are maintained and the best use is made of teaching time.
Use teaching methods, which will engage stimulate students' intellectual curiosity, including the use of effective questioning, clear presentation and effective use of resources.
Set high expectations for students' behaviour, establishing and maintaining a good standard of behaviour management in accordance with the rules and behaviour policy of the school.
Teach up to and including A level Maths with the ability to teach Further Maths as a significant advantage.

As Maths Teacher your focus will be to:

Lead initiatives to boost student participation and school spirit.
Support enrichment activities and school events.
Strengthen parental engagement through clear communication and progress updates.
Deliver dynamic, inclusive, and effective lessons.
Foster creativity, problem-solving, and design thinking.
Use data-driven strategies to support diverse learning needs.
Integrate digital tools to enhance learning experiences.
Serve as a Form Tutor and contribute to the IB curriculum.
Develop and implement curriculum-aligned lesson plans.
Ensure rigorous assessment and timely feedback.
Contribute to curriculum innovation and quality assurance.
Engage in continuous professional learning.
Reflect on practice to improve teaching effectiveness.
Uphold school values and contribute to a positive school culture.

The Successful Candidate will possess:

Recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, HDipEd, or equivalent).
Hold a current Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure for all countries lived in.
Compliance with visa requirements for working.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils, and a willingness to undertake appropriate child protection training when required.
