The Role:1. The project Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operational aspects of complex engineering to order projects to ensure that they are delivered according to agreed specifications, plans, timescales and budgets and that company procedures are followed in the execution of this projects.2. Typically the Project Manager will be involved from the proposal stage through to successful completion at the customer site.3. Engineer to order projects will have commercial and technical risk, requiring the Project Manager to collaborate closely with Technical, Sales, Legal, Operations and Procurement as well as direct contact with the customer and third party vendors.4. The Project Manager is responsible for the whole project team improving or at least protecting the projected gross margin for the project.5. The Project Manager would also take responsible for proposal support to various CCs with the local project and engineering team.What we expect of you?1. 5 to 10 years experience of project management methodology, preferably gained in an electro-mechanical assembly environment.2. Demonstrated the ability to manage projects and resources successfully; including full planning and budgetary controls skills.3. Knowledge of vacuum technology preferably with application and proposal experience and knowledge.4. Has ability to delegate responsibility appropriately and successfully to a multi-disciplinary team in accordance with project requirements.5. Communicate effectively at various organizational levels and with different cultures and has matching interpersonal skills.6. Other skills include active listening, coaching, decision making, judgement, persuasion and management of financial resources.Start a journey of endless opportunities
