(Full Stack Engineer) * Complete DevOps responsibility over the delivery of engineering solutions that support our products and our customers – design, development, testing, coding, deployment and ongoing operations.

Leading continuous improvement on our own solution architecture, tooling and processes to increase productivity and quality, reduce toil and achieve cost saving
Driving innovation and engineering maturity uplift of the team and the wider department by sharing, promoting and experimenting new ways of working, technology and practices, and share successes and/or lessons learnt
Leading and coaching on a small team of co-located engineers
Engagement and communication with other internal HSBC stakeholders at different levels of seniority on behalf of our team in both technical and business/financial context
Working with global diverse teams

Requirements

Strong in most of the programming languages/frameworks(HTML, CSS, NodeJS, React, Vue, Kotlin, Java, Python, Rust, Go, SQL)
Strong in delivering high-quality and resilient technical solutions through adoption of test-driven, non-breaking and feature toggling development methodology, blue/green architecture and deployment patterns, baking in auto-healing and robust edge-case/error handling in application logic
Strong experience in building and managing complete CI/CD pipeline using tools like Jenkins, Maven, Shell scripting, GIT
Strong experience in using and engineering integration with most of the third-party/open-source products below

JIRA, Confluence, GitHub, Nexus, Bitbucket, Postgres/Oracle RDBMS, Prometheus, InfluxDB, Grafana, Active Directory/LDAP * Knowledge and experience in public/private Cloud, open-source/commercial ML/AI technologies and platforms will be beneficial

Strong understanding and troubleshooting skills in Networking, Database, Linux operating systems issues and performance tuning
Excellent communication, leadership, analytical and stakeholder engagement skills
Strong appetite in learning new skills and practices, and challenge status-quo to improve overall performance
