The Finance Controller role requires expertise in managing financial operations, reporting, and strategic planning. This position is based in Shanghai and offers a great opportunity to contribute to the financial success of the organisation.-Supervising the finance operations of the plant & trading office , including reporting, planning & forecasting, FP&A, and local tax compliance in China- Overseeing the month-end closing process- Annual planning process in China and coordinating with all relevant global stakeholders, ensuring adherence to detailed project plans, identifying and resolving issues, and providing status updates to the Corporate FP&A team and local Business Unit General Managers- Reviewing production cost variances and optimizing standard vs. actual costing- Supporting new product development by providing product cost & gross margin estimates, reviewing and commenting on related R&D costs- Overseeing Assets Management and Project Accounting functions.-Supporting the supply chain planning process and Capex 3-year planning by providing monthly SOP reports based on sales forecasts- Managing and reviewing tax & legal risks in transfer pricing issuesInternational BusinessGreat company cultureA successful Finance Controller should have:

A professional qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or equivalent).
Proven experience in financial management within the industrial/manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of local accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
Ability to lead and develop a team effectively.
Strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
Fluent English and good leadership skills
