- Monitors the daily operation of SAP systems to ensure optimal system performance
- Is responsible for maintaining the availability, reliability and security of SAP systems
- Performs periodic system health check and maintenance tasks, such as backup and patch installation
- Identify potential issues by analyzing system logs, monitoring performance metrics, and conducting system audits
- works closely with the development team to identify areas of system improvement and provide best practice guidance for configuration, testing, and deployment
- Resolves technical issues related to SAP systems, including but not limited to system errors, connectivity issues, and data inconsistencies
- Develops and maintains documentation related to system architecture, configuration, and processes
- Provides training and support to end users on the functionality and use of SAP systems
- Work with cross-functional teams to deliver projects while ensuring compliance with schedules and quality standards
- Learn about the latest SAP technologies and trends, and recommend best practices for system optimization and performance improvement
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- At least 5 years experience as SAP operations engineer
- Proficient in SAP Basis, including installation(Basic concept), configuration and maintenance of SAP systems
- Familiarity with SAP applications such as SAP S/4HANA, FICO modules support from BASIS perspective, and Solution Manager
- Proficient in SAP HANA database management and migration(Basic concept)
- Familiar with SAP cloud infrastructure, primarily Azure
- Good problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good ability to work independently and in a team
- Strong will to work flexibly as necessary to support system maintenance and upgrades
