- You will be joining a team of dedicated Engineers and Specialists responsible for the design and integrity of the Next Generation Nacelle structure. Your tasks will vary in complexity and nature but will mostly focus on quality control in manufacturing processes at the external supplier site to ensure design is manufactured as per requirements. A typical workflow might look like this:
- Be the bridge between designers and the external manufacturer
- Developing supplier by providing technical supports (design to manufacturing) - and solve the production difficulties that are detected during different steps in the production, all together with the designer and the external manufacturer
- Be part of the design review process from the early stage in the product development - ironing out the added design risks in the manufacturing process is the key
- Cooperate with experts in other disciplines, besides working closely with the core design team, such as supplier quality development and global procurement
- Participating supplier identification, selection, and evaluation
- Create and maintain lessons learned documentation, all to improve the future design
- Bachelor or Masters in Material forming and Control Engineering or Welding Engineering background
- +10 years of relevant experience within the following areas:
- Prefabrication, welding, machining, heat treatment, sand blasting and painting
- Good knowledge of ISO9001, ISO13485, ISO3834, ISO5817, EN1090, EN15085, ISO13485 and other relevant standards for the steel structure
- Hands on experience in inspection methodologies such as VT, UT, MT are must
- Very familiar with the welding procedures, PWI, P-FMEA, PPAP and APQP
- Experience of supplier quality development
- Have great communication skills in English, written and verbal to liaise with various stakeholders on different levels within the organization
- Motivated, result oriented and have a solid sense of responsibility
- Can work individually and as a part of a part
- Experience within other large corporate organizations
- Willing to travel and be ready to be collocated at the manufacturing sites for a longer period of time when required
