English Teacher in Primary/Middle School:Main Responsibilities:To teach the curriculum established by the school, integrating the curriculum with the school’s Educational Objectives;To take the responsibility of designing lesson plans that demonstrate a clear connection between instruction and the curriculum established by the school, selecting and using school-approved teaching strategies and classroom resources, implementing teaching research;To provide a stimulating and effective learning environment for the students in supporting their learning, encouraging students’ creative thinking and promote critical inquiry;To maintain close partnership with parents, colleagues and the community;To provide both written reports (termly) and informal communications (where required) to parents on the growth, progress, and attainment of the students;To Create a safe, orderly and supportive classroom atmosphere that is conducive to effective teaching and learning;Other duties as reasonably required by the Head of Primary / Middle School;RequirementsRequirements:Native English speakerBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education preferredTeaching qualificationMinimum 3 years’ full time teaching experienceESL experience is desirable, experience with Chinese students preferredExcellent classroom management and behavior management skillsAbility to work as a part of a team in planning and implementing the school’s curriculum, strategic plans and policiesStrong interests in leading extra-curricular programStrong interpersonal and communication skillsPersonal integrity and professional ethicsBenefits
