- Advise, mentor and guide internal stakeholders, in particular, regional HR teams, around complex HR decisions, including performance management, retention, discrimination, harassment and separations;
- Advise regional HR teams on other HR policies from employment law perspective;
- Design and deliver legal employment law trainings to coach internal stakeholders;
- Provide support and assistance to the HR team as the first line of defense per the company's privacy data policies and SOPs, and collaborate with Compliance team and its external consultant on new and complex business scenarios not yet detailed defined.
- Identify evolving and unique challenges and proactively provide risk mitigation solutions;
- Monitor legislation developments and trends, and provide proactive solutions;
- Manages or participates in HR projects as needed.
- Having minimum 7 years of private practice experience in reputable law firms with focus of employment law; prior in-house employment counsel experience of 1-2 years at MNCs is preferred;
- Solid knowledge of all aspects of employment law in China;
- Experience in advising on employee data collection, process and protection;
- Experience with issues such as harassment, discrimination, ethical issues, etc.;
- Hands-on, solution-oriented, and ability to provide actionable solutions;
