- Your department head and immediate superior is the Assistant Director of F&B.
- Your Assistant Restaurant / bar Manager will be in charge of Restaurant / bar /in room dining Operation in your absence.

- Responsible for the completion all mise-en-place and setups as indicated in a timely manner and reflects the highest standards of the hotel.

- Assist the Director of FB in operation duties.
- Handle guest complaints and solve them.
- Maintain a good relationship with regular clients.

- Responsible for all operating equipment, audiovisual equipment or other tools that have been assigned to Restaurant / bar Operation.

- To ensure on spot up-selling in order to maximize the departmental revenue.
- To attend and participate in all required meetings.
- To supervise the execution of Restaurant / bar events according to guest’s desire and to insure the highest standards of food, beverage and service is offered.

- To generate new business from existing and new clients via solicitation and relationship management.
- To review all Restaurant / bar Operation orders and daily and weekly Restaurant / bar sheets to ensure accuracy in content.

- To execute other job-related duties as instructed by Director of FB.
- To inspect the grooming of your subordinates.
- Delegate, supervise and control the Restaurant / bar Operation.

- You are responsible for the expenses such as:Breakage and looses of operating equipment, cleaning products and other related supplies.
- You are responsible to maintain the manning level given to you by the Assistant Director of FB.
- You are in charge of the expenses for the repair and maintenance of audiovisual equipment assigned to your area.
- A thorough knowledge to manage and organize Restaurant / bar Operation.

- To know how to coordinate, control and supervise your subordinates.
- Efficiency in your work, to be honest to the guests, superior and colleagues.

- To have a good understanding of English and Chinese language.
- You have to organize, supervise and control your subordinates and to help them to execute their tasks.
- Be alert to see the performance and activities of your subordinates and assist them in every aspect.
- Motivate your subordinates.
- You have to protect your subordinates against complaints by accepting all responsibilities.
- To train your subordinates to the position’s and hotel’s standards.
- Work out an evaluation and a development plan for each of your subordinates
- Flexible.
- All hotel documents, such as: employee handbook, job description, fire and typhoon procedure, etc.
- All new documents that may be issued from time to time by hotel management.
- Training documents and information on hotel’s facilities.
- Catering documents (i.e. proposal, contract and terms and conditions, etc.)
- Related financial reports (i.e. daily revenue, monthly or annually forecast and budget, etc.)
- You have to work out and implement a yearly training plan.
- You have to complete a monthly training report.
- You have to conduct training courses to your subordinates and instruct them.
- The keep the ADFB regularly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance so prompt corrective action can be taken where appropriate.
- Inform your subordinates about all hotel activities.
- You have to inform the kitchen of any specific guest comments.
- You have to coordinate your subordinates and look for a good teamwork.
- You have to co-operate efficiently with all hotel departments directly or indirectly involved with the Restaurant / bar Operation.
