- Communicates with business users to identify and refine requirements and translate them into specified project deliverables
- As the owner of projects / initiatives, defines delivery roadmap based on solutions, and removes blockers to ensure technical solutions are delivered per agreed timeline with high quality
- Works hands-on, to design, build and support technical solutions / platforms with the delivery team, estimated split will be 80/20 hands-on programming and coaching / mentoring
- Production support and incident reaction as part of the global team.
- Coaches and mentors team members to build a high performing technical delivery team. You will use your extensive soft skills in order to track, align and motivate delivery leads and developers, but also encourage them to raise risks early, expose their views on technical decisions and coordinate with rest of the regions in a follow-the-sun model
- 10+ years’ experience in software engineering with experience in leading technical delivery team
- Hands-on skills in programming in modern Java language on back-end with HTTPS, RESTful API, micro-services and MQ
- Experience in delivering multiple back-end systems with requirements in

- Solid experience in Agile development framework and familiar with agile tools
- Strong communication skills and proficient in both Mandarin and English, with capability of stakeholder management

- Self-driven and capability of work proactively, collaboratively, and efficiently with geographical dispersed teams
- A decision maker with critical thinking, who is principled and persistent
- A faster learner with curiosity and passion in technology, who keeps updating his/her knowledge
- Ability to deal with pressure and calmness in urgent / stressing situation
- Experience in high-volume data processing and compute, ETL pipelines and distributed compute systems
- Experience in no-SQL or Columnar DB
- Experience in building service on cloud (especially GCP)
- Domain knowledge in banking - trade life-cycle and post trade processing for financial investment products, especially FX
- Python experience is a plus
- Solid experience in Agile development framework and familiar with agile tools
