- Support the Senior Manager, Data & Analytics Office in the execution of key governance forums - inclusive but not restricted to the Asia Pacific Data Executive Council (ADEC) and ASP DAO Operational Committee (ASP OpCo).
- Collaborate, guide and support ASP markets in ensuring sound organisational governance - translate market governance, the Country Data Executive Councils (CDEC) into effective regional governance and vice versa.
- Design, own and continuously update Terms of References (ToR) to ensure relevance and updatedness of attendees and contents.
- Governance over resourcing process, headcount discipline and people location strategy
- Support the Senior Manager, Data & Analytics Office with the execution of operational management activities with respect to ASP DAO and ASP DAO markets.
- Design/cascade/implement policies and procedures to ensure effective and efficient approaches to business management in ASP DAO.
- Proactively sought and adopt best practices to achieve the highest level of operational excellence and standards.
- Ability to navigate geographic and organisation structures in handling complex operational demands, and play a key role in ensuring sustained process to strengthen organisational management.
- Effective collaboration with key partners in Group DAO, GDT/IT, DBS, FIN and Lines of business across ASP markets on business management topics.
- Perform effective oversight of all financial and workforce metrics, identify risks, recommend resolutions and escalate where required.
- Manage the relationship and processes with Procurement, and increase the oversight and management of vendor and consultancy spend.
- Execution of agreed cost efficiencies approaches / initiatives to drive meeting of financial and workforce targets.
- Ensure that the initiative (CTB & RTB) objectives are clearly understood and mutually agreed by the stakeholders.
- Ensure appropriate support including but not restricted to producing MI and Reports for ASP DAO leadership forums to aid in decision making and monitoring of SLAs across the markets.
- Develop FRP and provide continuous tracking of financial actuals against plan. Escalate where required where challenges in meeting targets taking into account headwind plans.
- Manage and track consultancy spend against the change budget, whilst ensuring effective vendor management.
- Facilitate and bridge ASP markets with relevant Group DAO service owners where required to satisfy local market regulatory due diligence.
- Provide accurate and effective cost and headcount monitoring and at the same time, track progress of deliverables and ensure benefit realisation.
- Support to generate strong and realistic business cases using business knowledge and ability to question and challenge during FRP.
- Support project planning and management to ensure best practice and legal frameworks are followed with regards to data governance.
- Provide consistent and quality Management Information on Business Performance at the Regional / Entity level that is effective in assisting DAO senior management.
- Support in organisational model design, operating model whilst ensuring adherence to Group DAO organisational design principles.
- Custodian of and maintenance / update to the ASP DAO organisation structure and operational blueprint, with adherence to Group DAO strategy.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a major services organization, with large-scale data or project management and oversight experience.
- Knowledge of business management, performance management and/or financial/workforce management practices in financial institutions.
- Familiar with ASP regulatory requirements in relations to financial management, inter-company charges and related emerging trends and issues.
- Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills, ability to communicate across different levels and effective execution capabilities.
- Internally and externally recognized subject matter expert that can influence and upgrade the way things are done.
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail combined with a strong delivery focus and ability to meet aggressive timeframes with quality results.
- Ability to independently plan, organize and prioritize and capability with tenacity to drive through results.
- High level of professionalism and integrity to deal with highly restricted business and financial information.
- Self-motivated and self-managed. Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy combined with a decisive collaborative nature.
- Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skill.
